It's been a long time -but things have been jumpin!

This poor blog has been sadly neglected but I have a good reason! I have been working on lots of new sessions, a brand new website and a brand new blog. All of them are packed full of new features and because the blog is so great, this will be the last post to this site. But don't worry, these pages aren't going anywhere!

I'll be trying to catch you up on all my recent sessions and you can visit here. There is also a link to the site over to your right. Also to the right is a link for you to sign up for our new e-newletter. It is being started to communicate special events and happenings, run contests (woo-hoo- with prizes) and let you know about anything else regarding Nancy Faircloth Photography. So, thanks for checking back and have a nice trip to the new site!

Two beautiful seniors

Wow! What a session this was! These two girls are very good friends and decided to do their senior sessions together. We had our two models, their moms and Sarah and I and it was a riot! Great clothes, adorable models and incredible light -I was in heaven! It was a gorgeous afternoon and we meet at Rollins College- we even shook up a fraternity house, but that is another story.....

Anyway, words can't do these girls justice. Take a look and you will see what I mean! There are lots because I could not decide my favorites! Enjoy and  thanks for looking....

A recent senior and her family

Had a blast with this high school senior a few months ago -remember her here - and a few days ago, I got to photograph her whole family! What a family they are - don't you suppose Mom and Dad just sit back and 'feast their eyes' on these three beautiful kids. Older brother is at UCF and little brother keeps them all hopping - he is an awesome kid. Love the interaction between them - their pictures really show the bond and I just tried to stay out of their way while they had fun and fooled around with each other. Yep, the "family" is alive and well in central Florida! Remember, if you or your child has had senior pictures done by Nancy Faircloth Photography, you can receive a full family session for 50% off the session fee for one full year after your senior session. Round up everybody and let's go capture some memories.

Also, I am still experiencing technical difficulties with my website so if you have tried to email me -I haven't ignored you - I haven't gotten any emails! Please give me a call at 407-312-0938 if you have questions about your ordering session, arrival of orders, etc.
O.K. -how about some pictures-

Yikes -technical difficulties!

My technical knowledge being as limited as it is, you can image my chagrin when I heard that my website was down -oh, no! Well, it is being rerouted to a new 'host' and takes a few days to get through the maze that is the internet. But, no fear, it should be back up in the next 24 hours. Unfortunately, I think emails have been lost as well. If you have tried to email me and gotten no response, please try again on Monday, or call me at 407-312-0938 or try my personal email at faircln@yahoo.com. Thanks again and sorry for your trouble!

Sunday morning at Rollins College

I have photographed at Rollins College a few times with kids and families but not with seniors - so this was a first and boy was it fun! We started at the lake and my senior, with her gorgeous eyes and blonde "surfer girl' hair was wonderful to work with, We worked all around ( did I say 'work'? -ha!) the shore and docks and then went on campus and took advantage of the lovely, old architecture. It was all just perfect and I can't wait to go there again -actually I had another session there that afternoon and saw lots of other photographers!

Today is Thanksgiving and I am so mindful of all I have to be grateful for -a wonderful family, fantastic clients, a super assistant who is really so much more than that and a profession I am totally in love with. I hope you are all having perfect days and that the holiday season will be unforgettable for you and your families! God bless you all!

Here are a few peeks at the photos we got at Rollins College -hope you love them, C, and there are lots more!

After we finished with "C', her sister and mom and dad jumped in and we did a little mini-family session. Aren't they an awesome looking family! I've known them all for years and it was so much fun to photograph them all! Thanks, you guys!

Miss GIRL!!!

Yep- she had attitude! Just the right kind and I loved her and her mom! And she has plans for after graduation -big plans- watch out world! She knew just how to tip her head to the camera and look right on into that lens. And that is why I am so happy to photograph as many seniors as possible!

I've just about booked the last senior that needs photos for their yearbook dedication pages but fear not!- it's not too late for casual photos to give as gifts, have printed as wallets to trade with friends and to tuck inside your graduation announcements! Friends and family will love having a beautiful, casual picture of you - unless you are the drape and tuxedo type, of course! Remember, prices go up after March 1, 2008 but if you book before then, I'll honor prices even if you schedule a session after March 1. So, on to the preview - isn't she gorgeous! Like I've said many times, I am the most blessed photographer to have such amazing clients- thank you to all the graduates of 2008 for allowing me to photograph you!

A little bit of autumn

After a long, hot summer, I've finally had a few session that were under 90 degrees! My families and seniors have been delighted with the clear skies, cool breezes and lower temps so even tho' the leaves are still green -we're feelin' the fall! Wanted to post some pictures from this seniors photo sessions. She was a doll -personality plus and awesome skin and eyes - plus she wore some tops with sleeves. Even tho' we took some pictures down by the water, I think you can tell it's not so hot anymore.

"C" is off to UCF in the fall and is enjoying her last days of high school. She and her mom were so fun and seemed to enjoy the whole "modeling" experience! Loved the 'signature shades'! Hope you like these few previews to all the great shots we got!

Christmas Cuties and a Lake!

These two came home from school the other day and jumped into their best holiday outfits for some Christmas pictures! I had a blast with them -he was a top chameleon catcher and she was an absolute little princess. And the lake was gorgeous, surrounded by beautiful weeping willow trees- love those! These are a few from their quick session -lots was going on at their house that day! Can't wait to work with the kids as well as Mom and Dad soon (promise we got lots more -you'll see them soon!)- Enjoy

Just have to post these...

Holiday season is a blur for photographers. I'm not complaining -it is a real adrenaline high - but  sometimes I feel like the pace is going to run right past me! Thanks goodness I have the best assistant, Sarah, in the world and of course the best clients. I just want all your sessions to be perfect!

I finished proofing this session and beautiful senior about an hour ago and had a hard time deciding which proofs to pick - many favorites. So here are a few! A little about the session - it was wet -very! We had to stop a few times to just let it rain. But my senior, her mom and older sister took it all in stride. We laughed, talked and got to know each other and before you knew it, the rain had stopped - briefly- and it was time to move to a new location. This young lady was perfect the whole time- great attitude, wonderful at posing and just got prettier as the afternoon  went by. I am so pleased with our session, E, hope you like these few and the wonderful Sarah will be in touch soon! Thanks again, you guys!

Holiday Time!

Had a great time the other day with a group of folks that were all good friends. They dressed up their very cute children and gathered at one friend's house for some holiday portraits. S, your house was so perfect and your back yard was great. We dodged the rain, the kids played and I got to capture them all!

I had a blast and THANK YOU all so much for the privilege of photographing your kids. I know I don't say this enough, but I truly appreciate all my clients. One very famous photographer said that her pictures were the way they are because she is not afraid to fall a little in love with her subjects.  It is an honor to meet with, get to know and finally capture your families and I am very grateful for the opportunity to do this for a living! I think you can see the fun -and just a bit of wildness in these families and children -Enjoy!
