Now they are engaged!

I had the pleasure of photographing a multi generational family at the end of 2006. Great grandparents down to brand new baby! My very favorite kind of session - just love the interaction. They were all so great looking and wonderful to work with. Family members had come from all over the US. The hosts of the party had three sons in attendance -one married and a daddy, one just graduating from college and one with a special someone he had brought to visit! Well, they just got engaged and I wish them all the best. They were a fantastic couple and I just had to post some of their pictures because I like them so much! Good luck and congratulations!

In the blink of an eye!

What a gorgeous weekend we are having and I have no idea why I am inside on the computer! Maybe it is because I am waiting for my former baby, Douglas (now 17!) to get home from a trip to the beach with his friends (over night, no less!) and I was looking at another baby's pictures. I took his first portraits at about 3 weeks and his second set at 3 months a few weeks ago. I was so amazed at the changes that happen in that short amount of time - 10 weeks! See what I mean - here he is at 3 weeks:

He's already a heartbreaker! And another with his mommy! - I hope she will cherish these always!

Great Senior!

Had the great pleasure to photograph this young man recently. He's very busy, too -getting ready to graduate from high school and boy can I remember (vaguely) how exciting- scary- overwhelming that is. He's got a lot on the ball though and was an exceptional model. We went out to a beautiful park nearby, he brought his guitar and we got some great shots.

Graduation is a special time for everyone -kids, their parents, friends and families. That's why I am offering some great extras for the graduate. Custom designed graduation announcements and bookmarks featuring a picture from our session and the graduates choice of information. Here's one from this session:

Another favorite of my customers is the storyboard which can be designed to include your favorite photos as well as important text such as a name, date or other information. These are mounted on board and coated to be weather and sunlight resistant. They are clean and very contemporary looking. Here's a sample and you can see lots more or these on my website.

Boys town!

Sometimes you meet part of a family and you are just itching to meet the rest! These guys were so great. Dad was invaluable in helping get the whole Ft. Stewart shoot together. He found the location, coordinated the families and best of all brought his own cute boys out and let me photograph them! But guess who was missing? Mom!! And Mom was -  in Iraq. Deployed for a year and dad and boys missing her in Georgia. She's got to be an awesome woman  - to sacrifice in this way and boy, is her family delightful! I would love to photograph all of them someday ! In fact, I just signed up to be a part of a new group of photographers throughout the US that photographs families of soldiers who are deploying but even better who are reuniting after their year away. I'm so excited and look forward to meeting more of these selfless families whose mission is all of our safety! Thanks again guys for letting me take your pictures!
